Good news!

Kind Coffee LLC, a coffee-roasting business in Estes Park, Colo., has pledged to give 1 percent of its net revenues from now through the end of March 2006 to the Wyoming Outdoor Council. As a member of 1% for the Planet, an alliance of businesses that give 1 percent of their sales to environmental groups, Kind Coffee has chosen the Outdoor Council as its first beneficiary.

Kind Coffee sells coffee produced using “shade-grown” and organic methods that are healthier for humans and wildlife than conventionally grown coffee. Kind Coffee is certified by the Organic Crop Improvement Organization.CA

Kind Coffee is also fairly traded, meaning the farmers who produce it make a liveable wage. Fair trade supports sustainable and stable social environments for the workers who provide our favorite morning (or anytime) perk.

Learn more about 1% for the Planet.

To buy your coffee and support the Wyoming Outdoor Council, place your online order at www.kindcoffee.com before March 31, 2006. Kind Coffee will give 1 percent of the value of your purchases directly to Wyoming Outdoor Council to support the wildlife, open spaces, clean air and clean water you value.
